Obverse description The obverse features the elaborate crowned arms of Hungary at center, consisting of a quartered shield with the Árpád stripes and the apostolic double cross, supported on either side by a standing winged angel. The shield is surmounted by the Hungarian royal crown. Two additional angelic figures flank the composition in high relief, their wings spread outward toward the encircling legend. The design is rendered in a refined Baroque style characteristic of late 18th-century Habsburg coinage.
