Reverse description The reverse displays a right-facing draped and armored bust of Holy Roman Emperor Francis I, his hair rendered in long flowing curls in the baroque manner, with elaborate lace cravat and cuirass visible at the shoulder. The effigy is finely modeled in high relief, consistent with the work of engraver Peter Paul Werner. The legend FRANCISCVS D. G. ROM. IMP. S. A. GE. H. B. REX runs along the upper and lateral rim within a beaded border. The date 1746 appears in the lower portion of the legend. As with the obverse, the design is contained within a circular beaded border set upon the square klippe flan.
