Obverse description Draped bust of Joseph Count of Stubenberg, Prince-Bishop of Eichstätt, in profile facing right, wearing ecclesiastical robes with a pectoral chain and cross, his hair dressed in the late 18th-century powdered wig style. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail, filling the majority of the field. The circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, interrupted at the base by the engraver's initials C·D. The toothed border frames the design.
