Obverse description Equestrian effigy of John George II facing right, depicted as Imperial Vicar in full armor and electoral robes, mounted on a caparisoned horse in a vigorous prancing pose. The elector holds an upright scepter or marshal's baton in his right hand, with the horse's elaborately decorated trapper visible beneath. The Saxon coat of arms appears on a shield in the lower field below the horse. The date 1657 is inscribed in the field, flanked by partial elements of the surrounding legend.
