Reverse description The elaborate quartered electoral arms of Saxony surmounted by a crowned helm with crest, the date 1612 divided to either side of the shield in the field. A continuous Latin legend encircles the composition reading VIGAIVS SA RO IMP ARCHMARSELE, referencing the vicariate dignity. The heraldic shield displays the multiple quarterings of the Saxon electoral territories, rendered with fine engraving typical of early seventeenth-century Saxon minting.
