| Reverse description | A complex thirteen-fold heraldic achievement featuring a central escutcheon bearing the arms of Magdeburg, surrounded by quartered and impaled arms representing the various territories of the Brandenburg margraves and Prussian dukes. The date is divided by the shield arrangement. Above rise three elaborately rendered crested helms with mantling, each surmounted by its respective crest, lending the composition a pronounced Renaissance heraldic character. The legend along the periphery continues the titulature of the issuer. |
