| Obverse description | Half-length armored effigy of Georg Friedrich facing right, left hand raised, depicted within a beaded inner circle. The date is divided by the figure on either side. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the inner circle, identifying the ruler as Margrave of Brandenburg and Duke of Silesia. The portrait is rendered in the vigorous Renaissance hammered style characteristic of mid-16th-century Silesian coinage. |
