Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Margrave Frederick III facing right, depicted with curled hair and ornate military attire including a decorated breastplate and mantle. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail characteristic of mid-18th century German coinage. The circumferential legend in Latin reads FRIDERICVS D•G•M•B:D•P•ET S•B•N•, abbreviated titles identifying the ruler by name and sovereignty. The legend is positioned along the inner rim of a milled border, with lettering evenly spaced around the portrait.
