| Reverse description | An elaborate canopied imperial throne of state, richly draped with curtains tied back at either side, occupies the central field. Atop the throne back is displayed the crowned double-headed eagle of the Holy Roman Empire bearing a central shield on its breast, symbolising the Vicariate authority. The throne is set on a stepped platform with a recumbent lion visible at the base. The circular Latin legend, partially inverted at the bottom, reads IN PROVINCIIS IUR.SAXON.PROVISOR ET VICARIUS with the date 1741 incorporated in the upper portion of the legend, separated by a six-pointed star. |
