| Obverse description | Draped bust of Bishop Francis Conrad of Rodt facing left, wearing episcopal robes adorned with ermine and a pectoral cross, his hair styled in a long curled wig. The circular Latin legend reads around the periphery, identifying him as Prince-Bishop of Constance. A mintmaster's mark appears at the base of the bust truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the Baroque style typical of German ecclesiastical coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. |
