Reverse description Crowned composite heraldic shield bearing the quartered coat of arms of the Habsburg territories, with the escutcheon of Upper Alsace prominently displayed at centre. The collar and pendant of the Order of the Golden Fleece encircles the shield. Two smaller subsidiary shields flank the main achievement, the Habsburg arms to the left and the arms of Ferrette to the right, each interrupting the divided Latin legend that runs around the field.
