| Obverse description | Draped bust of Margravine Christiane Charlotte facing left, her elaborately curled hair adorned with pearls and ribbons in the baroque court style. The date 1726 appears in the lower field beneath the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading CHRIST · CAR · TVTRIX · REG · BR · ON, identifying her as regent. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the drapery and lace at the décolletage. |
