| Reverse description | Central crowned quartered coat of arms of the Palatinate-Bavaria, displaying the Rhenish Palatinate lion and the Bavarian lozengy arms, with a small escutcheon at base bearing the Jülich arms. The shield is flanked by elaborate laurel and oak branches. The date appears divided in the upper field to either side of the crown, with the mintmaster's initials A.S. and the fineness inscription 20 EINE / FEINE MARC arranged in the lower portion of the field, indicating the Konventionstaler standard of 20 coins to the fine mark. The overall composition is well-centered and finely engraved in the neoclassical style. |
