Obverse description Panoramic view of the city of Regensburg (Ratisbon) with its characteristic Gothic spires, towers, fortified walls, and the stone bridge over the Danube river in the foreground, all rendered in fine engraved detail. The legend MONETA REIP. RATISPON. arcs along the upper field, while the lower exergue bears the denomination XX. ST. EINE F.C.M., the date 1781, and the mintmaster's initials GCB. The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner border and a finely milled outer rim.
