Reverse description Full-length frontal figure of Blessed Nicholas of Flüe (Niklaus von Flüe) standing in a pastoral setting, clad in pilgrim's garb, holding a rosary in one hand, with a tree trunk at his side. The saint is depicted in a serene, hieratic pose against an open meadow background. The surrounding legend in Latin identifies the saint and records his death in 1487 at the age of 70, running continuously around the outer border within the milled rim.
