| Reverse description | A large baroque cartouche with elaborate scrollwork frames a five-line Latin inscription across the field. A cherub head with spread wings is prominently displayed at the top of the cartouche, serving as the principal decorative element. The inscription reads DOMINE / CONSERVA / NOS IN / PACE followed by the date, all rendered in bold capital letters. The overall composition reflects the devotional character typical of Swiss civic coinage of the mid-seventeenth century. The coin is encircled by a milled border consistent with the obverse. |
