Obverse description Crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed, bearing the arms of Donauwörth on a shield at the breast. The last two digits of the date appear at the end of the circular Latin legend in the outer field. The design is characteristic of mid-16th century South German municipal coinage executed in hammered technique.
