| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the city arms of Regensburg — two crossed keys on a divided field — set within an ornate baroque cartouche with foliate scrollwork. Above the shield, an all-seeing eye within a radiant triangle symbolising divine providence. The mintmaster initials G·C·B· appear in the field to either side of the cartouche base. The circular legend NON DORMIT CUSTOS flanks the design left and right, and a rectangular exergue below bears the inscription MON·REIP·RATISP· / XX·EINE F·MARK / 1774. |
