| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription reading the honorific al-muayyad bi-tayid al-rahman, followed by the royal epithet shams al-dunya wal-din abul nasr, all executed in a bold, angular calligraphic style typical of Gujarat Sultanate hammered coinage. The legend is arranged in horizontal registers filling the flan, with no border or geometric frame on this side. The script is deeply struck but irregular at the edges due to the hand-struck production method. |

| Reverse description | Central field features a multi-line Arabic inscription contained within a single square cartouche, reading Muzaffar Shah bin Mahmud Shah al-Sultan, identifying the ruler and his lineage. The AH regnal date appears within or adjacent to the square frame. The bold, angular script is characteristic of the Gujarat Sultanate mint style, with the square border a common design element on Tanka and half-Tanka coinage of this period. The coin's irregular round flan shows typical characteristics of hammered production, with the inscription occasionally running to the edge of the flan. |
