Obverse description Central square cartouche containing Arabic inscriptions arranged in multiple lines within the field, typical of hammered sultanate coinage. The legend within the cartouche bears the royal titles and name of the sultan in bold, angular Arabic script. Marginal inscription in Arabic script surrounds the central square along the coin's periphery. The overall design follows the standard epigraphic style of Gujarat Sultanate silver coinage, with no figural imagery. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, characteristic of hand-struck medieval Indian issues.
