| Reverse description | Three-line Arabic legend within a plain frame surrounded by a beaded border, with the Islamic Hijri year (١١٨٦) prominently displayed at the top of the field. The central line bears the mint formula 'ضرب في' (struck in), and the lower line names the mint city 'تونس' (Tunis). The bold calligraphic style is consistent with Tunisian hammered gold coinage of the period. A small suspension hole is present at the bottom of the flan. |
