| Obverse description | Four-line Arabic calligraphic legend within a plain square frame, all contained within a beaded border. The inscription reads the full Ottoman imperial titulature of Sultan Mustafa III, identifying him as Sultan of the Two Lands and Two Seas and Khan. The script is rendered in a bold, characteristically Ottoman hand. A small suspension hole is visible at the top of the flan, above the beaded border. |
