| Reverse description | Central field features a long cross pattee extending to the inner beaded circle, with the arms of the cross dividing the field into four quarters. A fleur-de-lis or ornamental device appears in two opposite quarters, while the remaining quarters contain pellets or additional decorative elements. The mint mark (orb) appears at the top of the field above the cross. The circumferential legend in uncial characters records the year of issue in Roman numerals, reading ANNO DNI M CCCC LXXXIIIII (The year of the Lord 1485), with stops between each numeral group, contained between inner and outer beaded borders. |
