Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborate interlaced royal cypher 'MJ' (for Maximilian Joseph) in ornate script, surmounted by a princely crown rendered in fine detail. The monogram is flanked on either side by a four-petalled rosette ornament positioned at mid-field. A circular legend reading BERGISCHE LANDMUNZ runs along the periphery. The overall design is executed in a neoclassical style typical of early 19th-century German minor coinage.

Reverse description The reverse displays a bold four-line typographic inscription arranged concentrically within the field. The fractional denomination '1/2' appears at the top center, followed by 'STUBER' in large capital letters on the second line, the date '1805' on the third line with a small ornament separating the digits, and the mintmark 'S' at the base of the field. Four-petalled rosette ornaments flank the denomination at the upper corners of the design.
