Obverse description The field is filled by a quartered shield bearing the arms of Meurs/Egmond, Boxmeer, Homoet/Stevensweert, and Meurs/Egmond repeated, with an inescutcheon (surtout) of the arms of Bergh at center. The heraldic device occupies the majority of the flan in typical hammered style. A peripheral inscription in Latin encircles the shield, identifying the issuing lord. The abbreviated legend reads FRE : CO : D : MO · B · H · HE · D · I · W, referencing Frederick, Count and Lord of the associated territories.
