Reverse description A standing vicuña in full left-facing profile dominates the central field, rendered in fine naturalistic relief with careful attention to the animal's characteristic slender build and elongated neck. The denomination 1/2 SOL DE ORO is inscribed in bold block lettering to the right of the vicuña, arranged vertically in three lines. The engraver's signature PAREJA appears incused in small letters at lower left, below the vicuña's forelegs. The reverse field is otherwise plain, giving the design a clean, modernist aesthetic.
