Reverse description Two horizontal lines bearing the mint and control inscription are placed centrally in the field, flanked above and below by legend, all enclosed within a beaded border. The design is a barbaric imitation of the standard late Roman reverse formula, with the text arranged in a tabula ansata-like fashion. The execution is irregular, consistent with hammered Gepid silver coinage struck at Sirmium in the name of the Byzantine emperor.
