Reverse description The reverse presents the denomination in bold multi-line text at centre of the field, reading '1/2 SILBER GROSCHEN' with the date below and the mint mark 'A' beneath it, all within a plain field. The circular legend around the periphery states the coin's fractional value in relation to the Thaler and its status as subsidiary coinage, separated from the beaded border by a narrow rim. Bullet separators punctuate the legend at regular intervals. The overall typographic composition is characteristic of Prussian Scheidemünze of the Vereinsthaler era.
