| Obverse description | Printed in orange and blue on plain white paper, the obverse carries the title inscription 保山县购面券 (Baoshan County Flour Coupon) in large orange characters across the top. To the left, a circular blue guilloché vignette encloses the denomination 半市斤 (half shi jin) in bold characters, while to the right an orange vignette illustrates a traditional Chinese pavilion structure set among tropical foliage. A decorative orange border band at the foot bears the year 1981, and the numeral 0.5 appears in blue underprint panels at each upper corner. |
