Reverse description The reverse presents a finely rendered right-facing portrait bust of a young woman in the Renaissance style, her hair drawn back and dressed simply, evoking the tradition of Italian quattrocento portraiture. The inscription RITRATTO DI GIOVANE DONNA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1/2 SCUDO appears in the lower field. The portrait is rendered with delicate detail, consistent with the engraving style of Bino Bini.
