A decorative branch or wreath element flanks the lower portion of the eagle. The peripheral legend SVVM • GVIQ3 (a contraction of SUUM CUIQUE, meaning 'To each his own') appears in Latin capitals around the coin, with a small ornamental stop. A crown surmounts the eagle's heads at the top of the design. |
