Reverse description Within a pearled inner circle, a short ornamental cross with a stylized flower or rosette at its center, the four angles of the cross alternately filled with a rampant lion and a fleur-de-lis. The design is characteristic of the decorative cross reverses found on mid-16th-century Guelders municipal billon coinage. A peripheral legend in Roman capitals occupies the outer rim.
