Obverse description Central round hole encircled by a raised beaded border, surmounted at the top by an Unalom (the sacred flame symbol of Thai royal Buddhism), rendered in fine relief. The denomination '1/2' in Thai numerals appears at the base of the central design, below the hole. A circular Thai legend reading 'สยามรัฐ ๑/๒ สตางค์' (Siam, one-half Satang) surrounds the design in the field, with a milled outer border enclosing the entire composition.

Reverse description Central round hole surrounded by a raised beaded border, with a Sudarshana Chakra (the spinning disc weapon of Lord Vishnu, adopted as the emblem of the Chakri Dynasty) rendered in stylized relief around the hole. The Buddhist Era date legend 'พ.ศ.๒๔๘๐' is inscribed in Thai numerals around the upper portion of the central motif, within a milled outer border.
