| Obverse description | Central round hole encircled by a raised beaded border, surmounted at the top by an Unalom (the sacred flame symbol of Thai royal Buddhism), rendered in fine relief. The denomination '1/2' in Thai numerals appears at the base of the central design, below the hole. A circular Thai legend reading 'สยามรัฐ ๑/๒ สตางค์' (Siam, one-half Satang) surrounds the design in the field, with a milled outer border enclosing the entire composition. |
