| Reverse description | The reverse displays bold Nagari script inscriptions characteristic of Orchha state coinage of the Vikramajit Mahendra period, with the principal legend occupying the central field in large prominent characters. A horizontal line or register divides the field, above which additional Nagari lettering appears, a convention common to Bundelkhand princely issues of this era. The overall treatment follows the Mughal half-rupee module adapted for local dynastic use, with the flan showing typical hammered irregularity and a plain edge. |
