| Obverse description | The obverse displays multi-line Persian-script legends arranged in horizontal registers across the field, consistent with the Mughal-style regal formula used on Jodhpur coinage struck in the name of Queen Victoria. The inscription is rendered in a bold Nasta'liq hand, with floral or foliate ornamental devices visible in the margins. A horizontal line divides the central legend area, above and below which the royal titulature is inscribed. The coin's surface shows the characteristic hammered-style die workmanship typical of Indian princely state issues of this period. |
