| Reverse description | Central field displays the Kalima (Islamic declaration of faith) in Arabic script, arranged within a square cartouche with knotted decorative elements at each corner, consistent with standard Mughal reverse design of the Shahjahani series. The calligraphic inscription is deeply struck in Naskh script, filling the square frame in multiple lines. The broad, flat flan and irregular outline are characteristic of hammered Mughal silver coinage. The field surrounding the cartouche is plain. |
