| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, arranged horizontally within an ornate wreath of olive branches tied at the base. The legend reads the titular inscription of Amir Habibullah Kalakani, identifying him as Servant of the Religion of God's Messenger. The Afghan solar year date 1347 appears in Eastern Arabic numerals at the foot of the legend, within the lower arc of the wreath. A small six-pointed star surmounts the wreath at the apex. |
