| Obverse description | Multi-line Persian inscription occupying the central field, enclosed within two thin concentric circles. The inscription includes the regnal name and mint name (Kandahar), with the AH date appearing above the central legend. The outer border is composed of a continuous wave-like or floral ornamental design typical of Afghan hammered coinage of this period. The flan is characteristically irregular in shape, as is standard for hand-struck issues. |
