Reverse description The reverse presents multi-line calligraphic inscriptions in Nastaliq script, covering virtually the entire field in bold, flowing relief. The text references the local ruler Madan Singh along with regal epithets, arranged in registers with a prominent diagonal or horizontal dividing line bisecting the field, consistent with the Mughal-derived coinage style of Rajputana princely states. Decorative floral or foliate elements appear interspersed among the calligraphic characters, adding ornamental depth to the composition. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular strike and flan shape typical of hammered half-rupee issues of this period.
