| Reverse description | Central field divided by a cross of raised lines into four quadrants enclosed within a rectilinear double-line square border. The upper-left quadrant contains a small raised square with a central dot; the upper-right quadrant features a prominent teardrop or flame-shaped device with a crescent below, representing an auspicious Buddhist symbol. The lower quadrants contain crescent and pellet motifs. Additional decorative elements occupy the corners and outer areas of the irregular flan, typical of Bhutanese hammered silver-plated copper coinage of the Deb Period II. |
