| Obverse description | Central field dominated by an elaborate tughra-style calligraphic monogram of Amir Abdur Rahman Khan rendered in Arabic script, incorporating the ruler's name and titles in a highly stylised interlocking design. The Hijri regnal date appears above the tughra. The entire central device is framed by a wreath of olive or laurel branches extending from the lower field on both sides. The coin is bordered by a continuous inner ring of beading. |
