| Reverse description | A bold upright cross pattée centred within a cusped or quatre-foil lobed inner circle, dividing the field into four quarters, each adorned with small floral or trefoil ornaments at the angles of the cross. The cusped frame is itself enclosed by a beaded inner border, with a circular Latin legend occupying the annular field between that border and the toothed outer rim. The overall design follows the Gothic ecclesiastical style characteristic of Aragonese gold coinage of the 14th century. |
