Reverse description The crowned Royal Arms of Spain, displaying the quartered shield of Castile and León, centered in the design and flanked by the twin Pillars of Hercules, each surmounted by a crown and entwined with a banner. The composition follows the standard colonial Spanish-American reverse type used throughout the New Granada mints.
