| Obverse description | Armored and draped bust of Philip IV facing right, rendered in low relief in the style characteristic of the Segovia roller-mill coinage. The effigy shows the king with a ruffled collar and cuirass. A circular Latin legend reading PHILIPP IIII D G surrounds the bust, with the date 1631 incorporated into the legend in the upper field.
