| Obverse description | Crowned facing bust of Felipe III rendered in a schematic, Gothic-influenced style typical of hammered Valencia coinage. The effigy is shown full-face beneath a large, stylised royal crown that dominates the upper field. The bust is set within a beaded inner circle, with the surrounding legend PHILIPPVS DEI G M running along the periphery in Latin characters.
