| Obverse description | Draped bust of King Carlos IV facing right, his hair elaborately styled and tied with a ribbon, occupying the central field. The royal effigy is rendered in the standard late-colonial Spanish portrait style. The circular legend reads CAROLUS IV DEI GRATIA, with the date appearing in the exergue at the bottom of the coin. Bullet-shaped separators punctuate the legend. The entire design is enclosed within a milled border. |
