| Reverse description | Central field displays a multi-line Arabic legend in Nasta'liq script proclaiming the royal titulature of the issuing authority: 'al-Sultan Husayn Ali Shah ibn Fath Ali Shah.' The inscription is arranged in three horizontal bands filling the flan, with the text raised in bold relief against a plain field. A dotted border frames the legend, and the irregular edge of the hammered flan is evident around the periphery. The absence of any figurative imagery reflects orthodox Qajar-era Islamic coin design. |
