Obverse description Central field bearing a three-line Arabic legend reading 'al-Sultan / Fath Ali Shah / Qajar', rendered in bold Nastaliq-influenced calligraphy characteristic of Qajar hammered coinage. The inscription is divided by a horizontal line bisecting the flan, a hallmark of the Type E format. Dotted border elements are visible around portions of the periphery. The die is slightly off-center, as is typical for hammered Iranian silver of this period. The overall style reflects the royal titulature formula standard to late Fath Ali Shah issues.
