| Obverse description | The obverse features a multi-line Arabic commemorative legend occupying the upper and central fields, arranged in circular and horizontal registers. At the lower center, a stylized winged scarab beetle — an ancient Egyptian solar symbol — is rendered in high relief, its outstretched wings spanning the lower field. The dual dates AH 1377 and AD 1958 are inscribed immediately above the scarab in Arabic-Indic and Western numerals respectively. The entire design is framed by a fine toothed or beaded border running along the coin's periphery. |
