| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, the arms of Zürich — a shield party per fess, the lower half bearing a diagonal band of ermine — are displayed centrally in the field. The shield is surmounted by a small cross fleury. An outer border of stylised trilobe (trefoil) ornaments and pellets frames the entire design, characteristic of the Gothic decorative vocabulary employed on mid-15th-century Swiss municipal coinage. |

| Reverse description | A crowned double-headed imperial eagle occupies the central field within a beaded circle, its wings displayed and its heads facing outward to either side beneath a single imperial crown. The eagle is rendered in a bold, simplified Gothic style typical of hammered Swiss civic coinage of the first half of the 15th century. The outer border repeats the trilobe ornamental motif seen on the obverse, providing a consistent decorative frame to the flan. |
