Reverse description Seven horizontal lines of text fill the central field, presenting the token's payability inscription in a plain typographic arrangement. The uppermost line carries the denomination HALFPENNY, followed by the date 1811, and subsequent lines stating the place of redemption at No. 18 Norfolk Row, Sheffield, concluding with the word TOKEN. The design is purely textual with no pictorial elements, typical of provincial token reverses of the Regency period.
